This is OUR blog to get in shape! Any of you who have been invited to view this blog are authors and can contribute posts, pics, and most importantly your workouts, workout strategies, healthy recipes, etc! Seriously whatever you want to post to help inspire all of us in this quest for better health (and shape). heehee.
Since it is the new year and goal assessment time, Deb, Jill and I were discussing that we need to have a family fitness challenge! We decided that we are going to train for a 5K charity run/walk that Boys & Girls Town is going to be hosting in Las Vegas in March. (as details come about, we will let you know).
Along with this workout challenge, we have decided to do the "Biggest Loser" program. We are modifying it to not be a COMPETITION-we are not paying the winner, etc. Each of us needs to decide what motivates us individually and that will be the reward we are working toward. For example, I am considering rewarding myself with a shopping spree for clothes (smaller sized, preferably). When we post on this blog it is to help remind us what we are working for, motivate us and hold us accountable-all to hopefully reach the goal of better health and satifaction.
